Who we are
We are a weekly-ish meet up group for dedicated craft & unwind time. We work on our own craft projects, whether that’s knitting, crochet, painting, drawing, embroidery, journaling, or something entirely different.
There is no pressure to be an expert and no expectation to finish anything. This is a group for unwinding, creating, and enjoying the process. Trial and error welcome and encouraged.
Share ideas, chat, or sit quietly side by side while your hands stay busy. Everyone is welcome, from total beginners to creative professionals. If you’re looking for a creative routine, a reason to make time for yourself, or a friendly group to create alongside, we’d love to have you join us.

About Chelsea
I’m Chelsea, founder of Syracrafts.
I’ve been crafting since I was a child; making jewelry, baking, painting, whatever I craft project I could get my hands on. Into adulthood, I have mostly worked with crochet, painting, and cross stitch, though I am constantly looking to experiment with new mediums.
The goal in my crafting is never to create the most beautiful and perfect final product, but rather to enjoy the journey of creative trial and error. I’m passionate about creativity being accessible, imperfect, and shared, and I love creating a space where people feel comfortable joining me in that journey.
When I’m not crafting, you’ll usually find me hiking, hanging out with my cats, or playing video games.
